Sticky Chicken Wings for Snacking

With so many sporting events going on, you need to be on top of your snacks and dips for the parties. The Sticky Chicken Wings for Snacking recipe will definitely have your crowd going wild once they hit the table. These were so good and were gobbled down so quickly that I knew I would be making them again and again!

Prep time is about 15 minutes and cooking time is 45 minutes. One good thing about this recipe is that everything is prepped and cooked in the same dish! Less time spent cleaning up and more time to watch the game!

Hubby wants to cook these on the grill for the big game on Monday and I can’t wait to see which version comes out better. I’ll keep you posted!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg – 2 pounds of chicken wings.

  • 6 tbsp of Soy sauce

  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated  (or 1 tbsp powder)

  • 1 lemon

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Some cayenne pepper (or chili flakes)

  • 4 cloves of garlic

  • 2 tbsp of Ketjap Manis sauce (use soy and a little brown sugar if unavailable)

  • ½ cup of honey

  • One hand full of fresh thyme (or one tsp of dried)

  • A few spring onions (green onions).
